TURN-KEY PRODUCTION LINE

Adapting flexibly to market requirements, we offer turn-key production lines at several levels of annual production capacity: 6MWp, 18MWp, and 36MWp.

 

BASIC 140 (BAS-140)

As the entry level production line in our product portfolio, the BASIC-140 production line is able to manufacture 140,000 solar modules a year (equaling 6MWp with current technology). In order to keep investment costs at the potential minimum, this version is based on manual solutions. High cost efficiency is resulting from the efficiency of the applied batch type production process, reaching the best return on investment if operated in low-labor-cost countries.

 

 

SEMI-AUTOMATED 420 (SAM-420)

We developed the SAM-420 model as an intermediate solution in order to offer economies of scale already to those customers, who are already beyond the entry level but are not yet ready to progress to the largest level of production volumes. We implemented several automation solutions in the design of this model in order to increase production throughput of the process line to 420,000 solar modules a year (equaling 18MWp). This capacity is already suitable to capture most of the potential economies of scale, while the required investment can still be kept at a low level.

 

 

SEMI-AUTOMATED 840 (SAM-840)

Having the highest production capacity in our product portfolio, the SAM-840 production line is capable of manufacturing 840,000 solar modules per year (equal to 36MWp). The high volume allows the best for optimization of throughput at different production phases, which results in the lowest investment requirement per MW of production capacity. Moreover, the large scale production makes it also possible to capture all sources of economies of scale bringing production costs per Wp to the potential minimum without “in-house” solution for TCO coating of the glass substrates.

 

SEMI-AUTOMATED 840 WITH TCO (SAM-840 TCO)

This model is based on the combination of the semi-automated SAM-840 model and an in-house TCO coating system. The annual production capacity of the whole system is 840,000 solar modules (equal to 36MWp). The already low production costs per Wp resulting from economies of scale of large production volumes can be reduced further in this case by the integration of TCO coating in the production process. Besides reduction of costs, this solution also significantly reduces manufacturers’ dependence on suppliers.

 

 

OTHER EQUIPMENT

SPOT I-V TESTER

This portable I-V tester was specifically developed for on-site mapping characterization of the core PECVD process by measuring I-V characteristics at arbitrary coordinates of the solar panel. By illuminating a small spot with AM1.5 light and with additional blue or red light sources, the 1st and 2nd diode can be characterized. The extracted information is invaluable in optimization of the absorber layer deposition as well as in identification of process malfunctioning.
